Christ's Hope Kenya
Christ’s Hope Kenya has a long term track record of caring for orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs). We take pride that the organization begun in 2005 in Kenya with an aim of providing care and showing compassion to the parents who were stigmatized due to HIV and AIDS. Later in 2015 we transitioned to empowering children in extreme poverty.
We currently reach over 700 children in areas distributed across five sub– counties within Kisumu County and Mathare slums in Nairobi. The children we serve are 60% orphans and 40% vulnerable children.
Our main target are the children who live below 1 USD per day. This mean that these children find it hard to have a three-square meal, afford better healthcare and even school. This enables us to build a holistic foundation with these children, since we believe that to achieve success God needs to be the center of all. That why we take pride in our track record of having graduated children who are responsible in the community and that they carry with them the good news of Christ.
We believe that through this we are raising a better generation that is rooted in Christ and grows to be the Cycle Breaker through the Biblical knowledge and truth.
